All students enrolled in the Freshman Business Seminar will complete the Stillman 1000 Badge as part of the Well-being Module. The Stillman 1000 Badge is an interactive way for you to learn about and engage with some of the key support areas at the University. This part of the Seminar will culminate on November 8th when you will have a chance to learn more about the University and win great prizes for your efforts.

To earn the Stillman 1000 Badge, you must learn about each of the following University departments. You have the choice to do that through visiting their website and completing a short two-question quiz OR by visiting the department’s location on campus and scanning the QR code located there. After you complete all nine departments, you earn the Stillman 1000 Badge, which you can add to your resume, AND you will be entered in a drawing to win an iPad (10th Generation – 64GB).

The departments are:

• Academic Resource Center – Arts & Sciences, Rm. 242
• Campus Ministry – Meet any one of the Priests, Brothers, or Sisters from Campus Ministry on campus & scan their QR code to earn this badge!
• Campus Inclusion and Community Center – University Center, Rm. 209
• Disability Support Services – Duffy Hall, Rm. 67
• Division Of Volunteer Efforts (DOVE) – Boland Hall, 108 (lower level)
• Health Services – 303 Centre St (across from the University main entrance)
• Office of Student Engagement – University Center, 2nd floor
• Peer Educators (KNOW MORE and Dare to Care) – University Center, Galleon Hallway
• Teaching, Learning, and Technology Center – Walsh Library, Lower Level

The quizzes for each website can be found as an assignment in your Canvas for this course.

In addition to earning the Stillman 1000 Badge, you can earn points by attending or completing additional activities. The points add up to entries for more great prizes you can win at the November 8th class meeting at the Event Room in the University Center. To find these activities check the list in Canvas or go to Engage. We’ll also be sending you regular reminders.

• Tuesday, 10/1, learn about Preventing Dating Violence, Galleon Hallway, 12pm – 2pm, (2points)
• Friday, 10/4, attend the IMPACT Student Leadership Conference, 10am – 3pm, Event Room, University Center. Registration Required. (8 points)
• Donate a warm article of clothing to the DOVE clothing drive (2 points)
