Online Teaching Certificate Level 2

This demonstrates completion of all the requirements of the Online Teaching Certificate Level 2 course. Knowledge of best practices in building a well-structured Canvas course, providing transparent grading and engaging lectures for students, and copying content between and within courses.   

To earn this badge: Faculty who successfully complete the course content, assignments, and Capstone Project are eligible to receive an Online Teaching Certificate Level 2 badge. • Describe the role of the Quality Matters Rubric in maximizing the effectiveness of online courses. • Plan out a course design with the Quality Matters rubric and Canvas tools. • Design a complete module that will use the various structures and tools that support quality course design as defined by the QM rubric. • Formulate a plan for student-centered learning in Canvas. Recipients must complete the course content, assignments, and Capstone Project.
