Additional Information

Development Management The objective of the training is "to train skills in management and management of development policies and programs / projects in the various sectors of socio-economic activities, capable of increasing the quality of interventions, more adequate to the actual needs of the country. and to invest in finding effective solutions to national and regional concerns ". The training cycle proposed at the University of Bujumbura Light responds to this challenge: it will seek to strengthen the capacity of practitioners in their respective areas of intervention, providing them with tools and intervention strategies guided by a multidimensional approach to development in solving the country's socio-economic, political and environmental problems. All the curricula will focus on the key issues of development, combining, with analytical rigor, a normative approach to development and professional guidance towards development management. Particular attention will be paid to the dynamics of the basic entities for their development . FINALITIES RESEARCHED To achieve such an objective, the acquisition of professional skills is essential: For specialists in " local development" , they will participate in the development of territorial development policies in their socio-economic and environmental dimension; While for " social development " specialists , they will be called upon to lead and animate the implementation of projects, either in their entirety or in certain specific areas, in particular institutional capacity-building, capacity-building in companies, the promotion of employment, social and professional integration ... And all will be at the heart of a renovation of the public actor and decentralization and are one of the essential links to the implementation of a policy of planning and promotion of employment.
