This course explores the history, purpose, scope, and legal structure of nonprofit organizations in the U.S., providing historical, political, economic, and sociological perspectives.

PADM 424 Resource Development in Nonprofit Organizations

This course covers fundraising, marketing, and strategic planning within the nonprofit context, emphasizing the identification and communication with key constituencies, including funders and the community. It includes a service-learning component.

PADM 494 Practicum in Nonprofit Management

A research and analytic project that addresses administrative and policy challenges within nonprofit organizations. To be undertaken in the final semester, it requires a minimum GPA of 3.00.

PADM423 Program Evaluation for Nonprofit Organizations

Focusing on evaluation research methods, this course exposes students to theoretical and methodological diversity in current evaluation practices across various substantive areas.
