Research Methods

Provides students with an understanding of methodological theories underpinning both quantitative and qualitative approaches to research and with a practical knowledge of how to design and carry out a research project.

This module builds on the earlier module to extend the students' ability to analyse and evaluate the environment in which voluntary and community sector organisations operate

The Legal Framework of Voluntary Action

This module builds on the discussion of accountability and regulation provided by VAM020L001. It will enable students to analyse the legal framework within which voluntary and community sector organisations carry out their work.
