국제기구 구성국가들의 안보·경제·사회 및 기타 영역의 상호협력을 촉진하기 위한 제도적 장치, 이른바 각국 정부간의 협력에 의한 공식적 또는 정부간 국제기구와 개인 또는 민간의 사적 집단간에 형성되는 비정부간 국제기구 등을 연구한다

(The study of institutional mechanisms to promote mutual cooperation in the security, economy, society and other areas of international organizations, such as formal or intergovernmental international organizations and non-governmental international organizations formed between individuals or private groups)

평화론 (Peace Theory) 

본 강좌는 현재까지 국제정치에 있어서 가장 핵심적인 문제인 전쟁과 평화에 관한 사상을 논함으로써 인류사회의 미래에 관한 방향을 분석한다

(This course analyzes the direction of the future of human society by discussing the idea of war and peace, which is the most important issue in international politics to date)

시민사회와 행정 (Civil Society & Public Administration) 

우리사회의 화두로서 시민사회의 역할은 정부와의 관계에서 핵심적인 위치로 자리 잡고 있다. 이러한 시민사회의 역할을 행정학적인 관점에서 분석·고찰하고자 한다.

(The role of civil society as a topic of our society is positioned as a key position in relations with the government. This course analyze and examine the role of civil society from an administrative point of view.)

21세기 사회에서의 행정과 NGO의 역할을 설명하고 우리 생활 속에서 제기되는 문제를 이론과 경험을 바탕으로 토론을 통해 풀어보고, 쟁점이 될 수 이쓴 문제들을 논의함

국제NGO론(international NGO theory)

국제정치이론과 NGO의 관계를 심층적으로 살펴봄으로서 국제관계에 있어서의 국제 NGO의 활동이 가지는 국제정치 학적 의미를 이해한다. NGO와 UN, NGO와 전문기구간의 관계를 고찰하여 NGO의 현재위상과 향후 개선 방안을 살펴본다. 국제평화와 국제 NGO의 활동을 연계하여 살펴본다.

(By examining the relationship between international political theory and NGOs in depth, the international political meaning of international NGOs' activities in international relations is understood. By examining the relationship between NGOs and the UN, NGOs and specialized organizations, the current status of NGOs and future improvement measures are examined. It examines international peace and the activities of international NGOs.)

국제기구론(theory of international organizations)

국제관계의 상호작용이 적나라하게 이루어지는 개별 국제기구의 창출과정, 특성, 발전과정, 문제해결 방식 등을 고찰하고, 특히 한국은 어떠한 이슈를 계기로 관계를 맺어왔는지를 살펴봄으로써 국제정치 현상을 분석하는 능력과 자질을 함양시키고, 한국이 이러한 기구들을 어떻게 활용해야할 것인가를 깊이 생각하는데 목적이 있다.

(The purpose of this course is to cultivate the ability and qualifications to analyze international political phenomena by examining the creation process, characteristics, development process, and problem-solving methods of individual international organizations that interact with each other.)

정치와 시민사회(politics and civil society)

최근 활발히 확대 및 분화되고 있는 우리 시민사회의 개념, 발달과정, 현주소와 나아갈 방향에 대해 공부한다. 특히 다양한 시민운동단체들이 현재 정치사회에 대해 어떠한 견제활동을 수행하고 있는지를 분석하고 평가하는 것에 중점을 둔다.

(We study the concepts, development processes, current status, and direction of our civil society, which have been actively expanding and differentiating recently. In particular, it focuses on analyzing and evaluating what kind of checks various civic movement organizations are currently carrying out against political society.)
