International organizations have been created by the global hegemonic states after the second world war as the international institutional arrangements and have been working as the main agencies responsible for the international development cooperation. Hence, the class will analyze a variety of issues pertaining to the development of our world with a particular reference to developmental economics, political economy, international development cooperation, and international organizations.

유엔과PKO (UN & PKO)

This subject is providing the international senses and knowledge for improving the competitiveness of individuals and country in the global world.To study on ROK's UN PKO(Peacekeeping Operations) participation and it's development by studying and understanding UN PKO including the theory and practice.

 국제기구의 발전, 특히 국제연합의 기구와 기능과 기타 정부간 기구의 구성과 기능에 관하여 강의한다.

국제기구론특강(Special Lecture on International Organization Theory)

 국제기구의 발전, 특히 국제연합의 기구 및 기능과 기타 정부간 기구의 구성과 기능에 관하여 강의한다.

(Lectures on the development of international organizations, particularly the organization and function of the United Nations and other intergovernmental organizations.)

국제기구와 세계정치(International Organization and World Politics) 

국제기구의 발전과정, 특히 국제연합(UN)하의 다양한 기구와 기능들을 숙지하고 기타 정부간기구(IGO)의 구성과 역할에 관해 공부한다. 21세기 위기관리 능력강화를 위한 국제기구의 개혁안들에 대해서도 검토한다. 

(Familiarize yourself with the development process of international organizations, particularly the various organizations and functions under the United Nations, and study the composition and role of other Intergovernmental Organizations (IGOs). The reform plans of international organizations to strengthen crisis management capabilities in the 21st century are also reviewed.)

인권과 정의(Human rights and justice)

이 과목은 인권의 개념, 논쟁점, 보편적 가치로서의 요소 등에 대해 학습하고, 사례연구를 통해 인권을 이해하며, 적극적인 인권 존중 문화 확산에 참여하는 자세를 함양하는 것이 목적이다. 

(The purpose of this subject is to learn about the concept, controversy, elements as universal values, etc., understand human rights through case studies, and foster an attitude to actively participate in the spread of a culture of respect for human rights.)

인권연구(Human Rights Research)

 인간의 기본권에 대한 연구는 자유와 평등과 더불어 박애의 가치를 재확인하고 그것을 실 천과 연결시키는 데까지 발전시켜야 한다.인권을 정치학의 한 주제로서만 다루는 것이 아 니라 인권 개념 자체 및 작동방식, 영향력, 관련 문제 등을 고찰한다.

(Research on human basic rights should be developed to reaffirm the value of philanthropy along with freedom and equality and to link it to practice.In addition to treating human rights as a subject of political science, the concept of human rights itself and how it works, influence, and related issues are considered.)

NGO의 의미와 기능과 이슈에 관한 전반적인 기본 개념과 이론, 그리고 다양한 관점 및 시민 사회와의 관계를 소개하고 이해하기 위한 과정이다.

국가행정 작용에 대한 대안 또는 보완적 수단으로서 시민운동이 지니는 의의와 과제를 논의해 보고자 한다.이 과정에서 시민운동과 국가가 견지해야 하는 협동적 관계의 한계는 어디까지이며 상호 경제하고 감독해야하는 관계는 어디까지인지를 밝혀보고자 한다.정부실패에 대한 21세기의 대안이라는 시민운동의 실체와 발전방향을 모색해 보고자 한다.

(As an alternative or complementary means to the national administrative action, this course discuss the significance and tasks of the civic movement.In this process, this course clarify the limitations of the cooperative relationship between the civic movement and the state and the relationship between mutual economy and supervision.I would like to explore the reality and development direction of the civic movement, which is an alternative to government failure in the 21st century.)

국가와시민사회연구 (Studies in State and Civil Society)

국가와 시민사회의 관계를 규법적 차원과 실제적 차원 모두에서 조명해 보고자 한다.특히 정보화 사회 이후 국가와 시민사회가 당면하게 되는 핵심적 과제는 무엇이며 양자의 이상적인 관계 모형은 무엇인지를 알아보고자 한다.이는 국정관리 문제를 다루기 위한 철학적 토대가 될 것이다.

(This course emphasize on the relationship between the state and civil society at both the legal and practical levels.In particular, we would like to find out what are the key challenges facing the state and civil society after the information society, and what is the ideal relationship model between the two.This will serve as a philosophical foundation for dealing with the issue of state administration.)

비영리 부문의 혁신과 투자를 위한 새로운 전략을 배우고 모금 개발. 모금의 기초와 태도의 변화. 실천의 변화 등을 배운다.

(Learn new strategies for innovation and investment in the non-profit sector and develop fundraising. Changes in fundamental and attitude of fundraising. Learn to change practice and so on.)

자원봉사론 (VOLUNTEERISM)

사회복지영역에서 자원활동을 할 수 있도록 공동체의식을 강화하고, 실천능력을 배양함을 목적으로 한다. 따라서 사회복지현장에서 자원활동을 위한 다양한 프로그램을 개발. 실천할 수 있는 능력과 함께 자원봉사 조정자로서의 자질을 갖추도록 한다.

(The purpose of this course is to strengthen community awareness and cultivate practical skills so that volunteer activities can be carried out in the social welfare area. Therefore, various programs are developed for resource activities in social welfare sites. Be able to practice and have the qualifications as a volunteer coordinator.)
