이 과목은 국가 (권력)와 시장 (기업)을 견제하고 보완하는 시민사회의 대안체제로서의 비 정부기구 (Non-Governmental Organizations: NGO)에 관한 전반적인 실천내용을 사회복지관점에서 다루는 선택과목이다. NGO가 무슨 목적으로,어떻게 조직 운영되며,여러 기능 (견제,대변,조정,교육,복지 등) 이 국내사회와 국제사회에서 무엇을 어떻게 성취하는지 살핀다. 구체적으로 참여민주주의,지역공동체 구축,자본주의 모순완화,인권 수호,인도적 지원,갈등 조정,자연 보호 등을 위한 NGO의 역할을 점검한다.

(This subject is an elective subject that deals with the overall practice of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) as an alternative system for civil society that checks and supplements the state (power) and market (businesses). It examines what purpose NGOs are organized and how they operate, and what and how various functions (checking, representation, coordination, education, welfare, etc.) achieve in the domestic and international communities. Specifically, it examines the role of NGOs for participatory democracy, establishment of local communities, alleviation of contradictions in capitalism, human rights protection, humanitarian support, conflict adjustment, and nature protection, etc.)

사회적기업 연구(Seminar on Social Enterprise)

사회복지 마인드에 기업적 사고를 접목시켜 일자리 창출과 지속가능한 지역재생을 목표로 하는 사회적기업의 개념과 국내외 동향을 살펴봄으로써 사회복지의 새로운 대안 가능성에 대해 탐색한다.

(We explore the possibility of new alternatives to social welfare by examining the concept of social enterprises aimed at job creation and sustainable regional regeneration by incorporating corporate thinking into the social welfare mindset.)

세계 정치무대의 행위자 중의 하나인 국제기구(정부 간, 비정부 간, 세계적, 지역적)들의 구조와 기능에 관한 연구를 통하여 국제관계의 메커니즘을 이해한다. 

(Understand the mechanism of international relations through research on the structure and function of international organizations (intergovernmental, non-governmental, global, and regional), one of the actors on the world political stage.)

시민사회와 NGO (Civil Society and NGO)

본 강의는 현대 사회의 통치(governance)와 관련된 시민 사회의 역할과 영향력에 대한 이해를 증진시키고자 한다. 특히, 비정부(NGO), 비 영리추구적 행위자들이 국제, 국내, 지방 수준의 통치환경에 미치는 영향력을 논의한다. 

(This lecture aims to promote an understanding of the role and influence of civil society related to governance in modern society. In particular, the influence of non-governmental (NGO) and non-profit-seeking actors on the governance environment at international, domestic, and local levels is discussed.)

학교,병원,정부 등 영리를 목적으로 하지 않는 기관 및 공익사업을 수행하는 기관의 회계제도에 관하여 연구하고 영리법인의 회계와는 다른 비영리법인의 특수한 회계처리문제에 대하여 연구한다

(Research on the accounting system of institutions that are not for profit, such as schools, hospitals, and governments, and institutions that carry out public services, and special accounting problems of non-profit corporations that are different from those of for-profit corporations)

비영리법인의 회계처리를 연구하고 각 비영리법인의 회계상의 특수한 문제점에 대하여 알아 보며. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위한 방안을 연구하고 비영리회계와 관련된 최근의 연구흐름을 소개한다

(Study the accounting treatment of non-profit corporations and find out the special accounting problems of each non-profit corporation. We study ways to solve these problems and introduce recent research flows related to non-profit accounting)

사회회계세미나(Seminar on Social Accounting)

기업의 사회적 책임을 보고하기 위한 회계학적 인식과 측정의 문제 및 보고방법을 연구하며. 기업의 사회적 책임이행을 유도하기 위한 회계처리를 연구하며. 사회회계와 관련된 최근의 연구흐름을 소개한다.

(We study the problems and reporting methods of accounting recognition and measurement to report corporate social responsibility, study accounting to induce corporate social responsibility performance, and introduce recent research flows related to social accounting.)

본 과목은 비영리법인의 회계기능에 대한 최근의 회계학 이슈를 다룬다. 국가나 지방자치단체, 공공기관 등의 비영리법인에 적용되는 회계처리 및 보고 등을 포함한다.
