 급변하는 고도의 기술 및 산업화 과정과 함께 기업윤리의식과 사회적 책임이 절실히 요구되고 있다. 경영학도로서 기업의 인간화를 위한 준비로 기업윤리의 철학적 배경 및 이론과 사례연구를 통하여 기업윤리의 가치관 정립을 목적으로 한다.

(Along with the rapidly changing process of technology and industrialization, a sense of corporate ethics and social responsibility are urgently required. 기업윤리와 실천적경영인재(Corporate Ethics and Practical Management Talent)

 기업이 이윤을 추구하면서 ‘계속기업(going concern)’으로 성장하기 위해서는 경영적 책임과 사회적 공헌 간에 균형이 필요하다. 기업도 사회의 다른 일원처럼 총체적 발전에 기여해야 하며 정당한 사회적 일원으로 존재할 수 있어야 한다. 기업은 법으로 규정된 법인격체이지만 개인과 마찬가지로 책임과 권리를 가지고 있다. 기업윤리는 단순히 경영자의 윤리적 의식 이상의 범위를 가진다. 기업윤리는 고도의 복잡성과 공동체 의식이 전제된 주제이기 때문에 철학적 도덕규범 이상의 이슈들을 포함하고 있다. 본 교과는 학생들이 기업과 경영자의 도덕적 책임은 무엇인지를 인식하도록 도울 것이며, 미래 책임 있는 실천적 경영인으로 성장하도록 인식에 변화를 주고자 계획된 것이다.

(In order for a company to grow into a 'going concern' while pursuing profits, a balance between management responsibility and social contribution is needed. Companies should also contribute to overall development like other members of society and be able to exist as legitimate members of society. Companies are legal entities, but they have responsibilities and rights like individuals. Corporate ethics range beyond just the ethical consciousness of managers. Corporate ethics includes issues beyond philosophical moral norms because it is a subject based on high complexity and a sense of community. This subject will help students recognize the moral responsibility of companies and managers, and is designed to change their perception to grow into responsible practical managers in the future.)

사회적기업 창업과 운영(Start-up and operation of social enterprises)

 사회적 기업가 정신은 혁신적인 방법을 통해 기존의 공공부문이나 민간부문에서 해결하지 못한 사회적 문제를 해결하고자 하는 노력을 말한다. 사회적 기업가 정신은 최근 들어 가장 주목 받고 있는 영역으로, 이익창출을 목적으로 하는 영리기업과는 구분되는, 시회적 목표 달성을 목적으로 하는 사회적 기업을 연구대상으로 한다.

시민운동과 시민교육(Civil Society and Civic Education)

한국의 실정에 맞는 시민교육의 모델을 개발하는 데 목적이 있으며, 이를 위해 이미 시민교육이 활성화된 다른 국가들의 경험들을 통해 시민교육의 방법과 양상을 살펴본다. 또한 한국사회의 전반적인 상황과 특히 시민운동의 활동과 연계하여 그 가능성과 한계를 고찰하는 과정을 통해 한국사회에 적용할 수 있는 새로운 방법을 찾기 위해 노력한다.

(The purpose is to develop a model of civic education suitable for the situation in Korea, and to this end, we examine the methods and aspects of civic education through the experiences of other countries where civic education has already been activated. In addition, we strive to find new ways to apply it to Korean society through the process of examining its possibilities and limitations in connection with the overall situation of Korean society, especially the activities of the civic movement.)

현재 활동 중인 환경 관련 NGO의 사례연구를 통해 환경문제의 발전과 쟁점 만들기, 그리고 정당, 해당 정부기관, 언론사 및 일반 시민과 다른 운동단체와의 관계 등을 연구한다. 동시에 환경과 관련된 다양한 주제가 정치, 경제, 시민 영역 속에 침투, 내재화, 제도화하여 환경적 가치가 중요한 사회적 가치로 자리 잡는 과정을 연구한다.

이 과목은 정치 조직과 비영리 조직을 위한 모금운동의 요소들을 소개하기 위한 것이다. 성공적인 모금활동 사례를 소개하고 전문가를 초빙해 모금활동에 관한 실제 경험적 지식을 접한다. 나아가 정치조직 혹은 비영리조직의 재정 계획 작성법을 배우고, 다양한 방법과 기술을 사용하는 종합적이고 효과적인 전략수립 방법을 배운다. 학생들은 비영리조직이나 정치 캠페인 중 하나를 선택해 강의, 읽기, 조사, 과제를 통해 모금 전략을 직접 수립해 보도록 한다.

(The historical origins of civil society and various social philosophies and theories surrounding it are reviewed. We compare and review hierarchical theories about civil society and civil society theories based on more classical liberalism. Based on this, we discuss the suitability of civil society theory based on modern 'market relations' in the current changing socioeconomic situation. And we look at the theories and experience studies of social capital in civil society. Human capital, social capital, and its economic growth implications are discussed based on experience of Korea.)

독재와 인권, 불평등과 사회정의, 참여민주주의, 환경문제, 소수자 인권 등 사회 구조를 변화시키고자 하는 사회운동에서 종교의 사회 참여적 역할에 대해서 연구한다. 고전 및 현대 사회학의 이론적 관점에 기초해서, 다양한 사례에 대한 역사적 이해, 현장 참여관찰 및 사례 분석도 병행된다.

(It studies the social participatory role of religion in social movements to change the social structure, such as dictatorship and human rights, inequality and social justice, participatory democracy, environmental issues, and minority human rights. Based on the theoretical perspective of classical and modern sociology, historical understanding of various cases, field participation observation, and case analysis are also performed.)
