공공부문의경제적분석(Economic Analysis of Public Sector)

학부 3-4학년 학생들을 대상으로 다음과 같은 질문에 답을 구하고자 마련되었다. (1) 공공영역이 존재하는 이유는 무엇이며 공공영역은 어떤 조정원리에 따라 운영되어야 하는가? (2) 공공영역은 시장과 어떻게 상호작용하는가? (3) 공공영역에서의 의사결정원리는 무엇인가? (4) 마지막으로 우리나라에서 공공영역은 어떤 역할을 수행하고 있는가? 이러한 질문에 답하기 위해, 본 강의에서는 기존 다양한 이론들, 사상들, 그리고 모델들을 하나씩 검토할 것이다.

(It was prepared to ask the following questions for students in the 3rd to 4th grades of the department. (1) Why does the public domain exist, and what principles of coordination should the public domain operate? (2) How does the public domain interact with the market? (3) What are the decision-making principles in the public domain? (4) Lastly, what role does the public sector play in Korea? To answer these questions, this lecture will examine various existing theories, ideas, and models one by one.)

정부와시민사회(Government and civil society)

시민사회와 정부의 관계를 다룬다. 시민사회의 개념화와 설명, 행정과 정책에서 시민사회의 중요성, 시민사회와 시민참여, 시민사회와 사회자본, 시민사회-정부 관계의 유형, ‘범지구적 시민사회,’ 시민사회와 민주주의 등의 주제를 체계적으로 고찰한다.

(It deals with the relationship between civil society and government. It systematically examines topics such as conceptualization and explanation of civil society, importance of civil society in administration and policy, civil society and civic participation, civil society and social capital, civil society-government relations, 'global civil society', civil society and democracy.)

시민사회와 민주주의(Civil Society and Democracy)

시민사회론의 행정학 및 정책학적 함의를 민주화, 거버넌스, 사회자본, 정책 참여 등 다양한 주제들과의 관련 하에 살펴본다. 민주주의 하 시민사회-정부관계를 비교적 관점에서 실증적으로 검토해 보고 시민사회와 정부 간에 수립, 발전되어야 할 바람직한 관계를 이론적으로 고찰한다.

(The administrative and policy implications of civil society theory are examined in relation to various topics such as democratization, governance, social capital, and policy participation. The relationship between civil society and government under democracy is empirically reviewed from a relatively perspective, and the desirable relationship to be established and developed between civil society and government is theoretically considered.)
