UN과 국제개발 협력기관(United Nations and the International Development Cooperation Agency)

MDG로 글로벌 개발을 추진중인 UN의 역할은 2015년 이후에도 ‘지속가능한 개발’로 추진될 예정으로, UN(UNDP, WHO 등)의 역할과제와 세계은행, IMF 등의 역할과제를 주요 정책영역별(빈곤, 의료, 교육, 인권 등) 분석에 수업의 초점을 맞춘다.

(The role of the UN, which is promoting global development as an MDG, will be promoted as "sustainable development" after 2015, focusing on analyzing the roles of the UN (UNDP, WHO, etc.) and the roles of the World Bank and IMF by major policy areas.)

글로벌 개발과 NGO(Global Development and NGOs)

본 수업은 '세계화', '국가', '시장', '시민사회'를 중심으로 세계화의 논리와 양상, 세계화의 진행에 따른 국가, 시장, 시민사회 3섹터의 권력이동, 글로벌 거버넌스의 개념과 NGO의 역할, 국제정치경제의 변동과 NGO의 과제에 대하여 학습한다.

(This class focuses on 'globalization', 'country', 'market', and 'citizens' to learn the logic and aspects of globalization, the power transfer of three sectors of state, market, and civil society according to the progress of globalization, the concept and role of NGOs, changes in the international political economy, and NGOs.)

글로벌 사회공헌(CSR)(Global Social Contribution (CSR))

기업 사회공헌(CSR)의 글로벌 차원의 현황과 과제, 개발도상국에 대한 개발협력 방안, UN, OECD 등 국제기관의 개발협력 정책에 호응하는 CSR 활동, 유형에 대한 분석을 통해 글로벌 CSR의 필요성과 문제점 등을 수업한다.

(It teaches the necessity and problems of global CSR through analysis of the current status and tasks of corporate social contribution (CSR), development cooperation plans for developing countries, CSR activities in response to development cooperation policies of international institutions such as the UN and OECD.)

글로벌 자원봉사(Global Volunteering)

글로벌 차원의 자원봉사 일반에 대한 이해를 바탕으로, 최근 급증하는 해외봉사활동의 성장 요인들, 주요 특징들에 대한 국내외 사례 분석, 해외봉사활동에 대한 정부나 기업의 지원정책, 해외봉사활동의 문제점 등을 수업한다

(Based on the understanding of the global level of volunteer work, domestic and foreign case analysis of the recent surge in overseas volunteer work, government or corporate support policies for overseas volunteer work, and problems of overseas volunteer work are taught)

글로벌거버넌스와NGO(Global Governance and NGOs)

본 수업은 냉전시기부터 현재에 이르기까지 인권과 금융부문에서 국제 NGO와 시민운동의 발달 과정을 살펴보고 특히 최근 국제관계의 새로운 주제로 부각되는 "글로벌 시민사회"와 "글로벌 NGO" 등의 개념이 담고있는 실천적 의미와 이 담론을 주도하는 행위자, 나아가 구체적인 작동방식을 비판적으로 검토한다.

(This class examines the development of international NGOs and civic movements in the human rights and financial sectors from the Cold War to the present, and critically examines the practical implications of "global civil society" and "global NGO" as new topics in recent international relations.)

비영리생태계와이슈 (Non-profit ecosystem and issues)

비영리기관들로 형성되는 비영리섹터의 생태계(조직, 인력, 재정 등)에 초점을 맞춰, 정부의 진흥정책과 시민사회조직(사회적경제조직 포함)이 당면하는 재정, 거버넌스 이슈들을 '비영리법인 공시자료'를 기초로 분석한다.

(Focusing on the ecosystem (organization, manpower, finance, etc.) of non-profit sectors formed by non-profit organizations, the government's promotion policies and financial and governance issues facing civil society organizations (including social and economic organizations) are analyzed based on "non-profit corporate disclosure data.")

풀뿌리공동체론(The theory of grassroot community)

시민사회의 역사적 발전과 시대적 동향의 변화에 따라 자율적이고, 공동체적인 풀뿌리공동체에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 이 강좌에서는 지자체와 결합한 풀뿌리공동체 운동과 다양한 자생적 흐름이 성과를 축적하는 공동체 사례 등을 학습하고, 시민사회 영역에서 풀뿌리공동체가 갖는 의의와 역할에 대한 이해를 도모하고자 한다.

(With the historical development of civil society and changes in the trend of the times, interest in an autonomous and community grassroots community is increasing. In this course, we will learn about the grassroots community movement combined with local governments and examples of communities where various self-sustaining flows accumulate results, and promote an understanding of the significance and role of grassroots communities in the civil society.)

나눔의 철학과 윤리(philosophy and ethics of sharing)

시민사회의 미래적 연대가치인 ‘나눔’을 융합․철학적 패러다임을 중심으로 학습하는 것을 목표로 한다. ‘나눔’이란 ‘특정한 보상을 바라지 않고 공공선의 도움이 되는 행위’로 정의할 수 있는 데, 이 나눔을 둘러싼 다양한 이론적 설명을 검토하고, 본 강좌에서는 ‘상호부조론’, ‘공감이론’, ‘정의론’의 철학적 논의를 나눔의 관점에서 학습하고, 시민사회의 나눔문화 확대를 위한 방안을 모색한다.

(The goal is to learn the future solidarity value of civil society, 'sharing', focusing on the convergence and philosophical paradigm. Sharing can be defined as "an act that helps the public good without seeking specific compensation." In this course, various theoretical explanations surrounding this sharing are reviewed, and philosophical discussions of "mutual co-operation theory," "sympathy theory," and "justice theory" are learned from the perspective of sharing, and measures are sought.)

사회혁신과 시민사회(Social Innovation and Civil Society)

사회혁신의 필요에 부응하기 위한 시민사회의 적절한 역할을 모색하기 위한 강좌이다. 사회혁신과 관련한 시민사회의 역할을 두고 최소주의 사회혁신 관점은 국가권력의 정치문제에 시민사회가 개입하지 않는 것을 주장하고, 최대주의 사회혁신은 시민사회를 넘어 국가, 경제의 포괄적 혁신을 주창한다. 이 강좌에서는 사회혁신의 개념과 의미, 시민사회의 혁신 사례, 이론적 쟁점 등을 다룬다.

(It is a course to find an appropriate role in civil society to meet the needs of social innovation. Regarding the role of civil society in relation to social innovation, the view of minimalist social innovation argues that civil society does not intervene in the political issues of state power, and maximalist social innovation advocates comprehensive innovation of the country and economy beyond civil society. This course deals with the concept and meaning of social innovation, examples of innovation in civil society, and theoretical issues.)

시민민주주의론(the theory of civil democracy)

시민사회의 성장과 더불어 정치 및 경제 영역에 시민들의 참여가 확대되고, 영향력이 증가하고 있다. 본 교과에서는 시민참여의 기초이론, 시민참여와 정치, 공론화 모델을 중심으로 한 시민참여의 사례 등 시민사회에서 전개되는 다양한 참여 맥락을 민주주의 관점에서 학습한다.

(Along with the growth of civil society, citizens' participation in the political and economic areas is expanding and their influence is increasing. In this subject, various contexts of participation developed in civil society, such as basic theory of civic participation, civic participation and politics, and examples of civic participation centered on public debate models, are learned from a democratic perspective.)

시민사회와정치경제(Civil society and the political economy)

현대 사회 이해와 시민사회학과 과정을 학습하는데 필요한 기본가치를 탐구한다. 정치와 경제, 민주주의와 자본주의의 관계와 상호작용에 초점을 맞추어 현대 시민사회의 기본이 되는 자유주의, 자본주의, 그리고 민주주의의 가치를 주창하는 주요 학자들의 쟁점과 흐름을 이해하며 첫째, 정치와 경제는 어떤 상호작용 관계. 둘째, 부의 분배와 용인 될 수 있는 불평등의 정도. 셋째, 정치공동체의 주체 넷째, 국가의 역할은 무엇이며, 시장과 민주주의 중에서 어떤 제도가 우선적인 중요성과 시민사회의 역할. 마지막으로 자본주의와 민주주의는 상생적인 발전이 가능성과 시민사회의 관계에 대하여 학습한다.

(Explore the basic values necessary to learn modern social understanding and civil society studies courses. Understand the issues and trends of major scholars who advocate the values of liberalism, capitalism, and democracy, focusing on the relationship and interaction between politics and economy, first, what kind of interaction is politics and economy? Second, the distribution of wealth and the acceptable degree of inequality. Third, the subject of the political community, fourth, what is the role of the state, and which system is the priority of the market and democracy and the role of civil society. Finally, capitalism and democracy learn about the possibility of win-win development and the relationship between civil society.)

시민사회이론(civil society theory)

근대 국가의 등장 이후 정부, 시장과 구분되는 시민사회 영역의 분화를 중심으로 시민사회에 대한 사상, 이론, 사회구조 등을 이해하기 위한 시민사회 전공의 개론적 성격의 강좌이다. 시민사회 이론은 자유주의적, 공화주의적 사상 흐름과 더불어, 자본주의, 사회주의적 흐름에 이르기까지 광범위하며, 현대 시민사회의 다양한 해석적 논의들을 이해하고, 개념의 기초를 다진다.

(It is an introductory course in the major of civil society to understand ideas, theories, and social structures of civil society, focusing on the differentiation of the civil society area, which is distinguished from the government and the market after the advent of the modern state. Civil society theory is broad, ranging from liberal and republican ideological flows to capitalism and socialism, understanding various interpretive discussions of modern civil society and laying the foundation for concepts.)

유럽 및 동아시아 시민사회의 성장(Growth of civil society in Europe and East Asia)

서구 민주주의 등장은 시민사회 형성에서 비롯된다. 또한 시민사회 형성은 자본주의 발달과 궤를 같이 한다. 즉 농업사회에서 상업사회로의 전환에서 비롯된 것이다. 서구는 이런 사회적 전환이 수 세기에 걸쳐 네덜란드, 영국, 프랑스, 미국 등에서 차례로 진행되었다. 반면 동아시아에서는 상업사회로의 전환이 더뎌 시민사회의 형성도 늦어지게 되었다. 이 과목은 역사 속에서 각 국가들의 경우를 비교분석하여 한국 시민사회 발전을 위한 통찰을 얻고자 한다.

(The emergence of Western democracy stems from the formation of civil society. In addition, the formation of civil society is in line with the development of capitalism. In other words, it originated from the transition from an agricultural society to a commercial society. In the West, this social transformation took place in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, France, and the United States over the centuries. On the other hand, in East Asia, the transition to a commercial society was slow, delaying the formation of a civil society. This subject aims to gain insight for the development of Korean civil society by comparing and analyzing the cases of each country in history.)

자원봉사론(volunteerism)

시민사회 영역의 관심사로 부상한 자원봉사 영역에 대한 포괄적 내용을 다루는 개론적 강좌이다. 자원봉사를 장려하는 공동체의 윤리와 문화, 전통 등을 학습하고, 자원봉사의 문화, 시각, 동기, 인정과 보상 등에 대한 이해를 바탕으로, 시민사회, 정부, 기업 등의 자원봉사 관련 제도적 장치와 정책, 기업과 대학의 사회봉사, 학교의 봉사학습, 지역사회의 자원봉사조직의 기능 등에 대해 수업한다.

(It is an introductory course that deals with the comprehensive contents of the volunteer field, which has emerged as a concern in the field of civil society. It learns the ethics, culture, tradition, etc. of the community that encourages volunteering, and based on understanding of the culture, vision, motivation, recognition and compensation of volunteering, institutional devices and policies related to civil society, government, and universities.)

한국시민사회사(Korean Civil Society History)

일반적으로 국내 시민사회 논의는 유럽적 근대 시민사회 형성과 발전을 배경으로 다루는 경우가 많다. 그동안 한국 시민사회사에 대한 논의는 상대적으로 소홀히 다루어져 왔다. 이 강좌에서는 18세기-20세기(조선후기-대한제국기-일제 강점기)를 중심으로 한국 근현대시민사회의 형성과 특징을 다룸으로써 한국 시민사회 형성과 발전의 특징 그리고 시민사회운동을 고찰한다.

(In general, domestic civil society discussions are often dealt with in the background of the formation and development of European modern civil society. Until now, discussions on the history of Korean civil society have been relatively neglected. This course examines the formation and development of Korean civil society and the civil society movement by dealing with the formation and characteristics of modern and contemporary Korean civil society, focusing on the 18th and 20th centuries (late Joseon-Korea Empire-Japan Strength).)

시민사회의 역사적 발전과 시대적 동향에 대한 이해를 바탕으로, 시민사회조직들의 서비스 제공의 역할과 주창활동, 국내외 및 국제사회에서의 시민사회조직의 역할, 그리고 최근 급성장하는 사회적 기업, 협동조합 등의 사회적경제의 특성과 역할, 그리고 사회적경제에 대한 기업과 정부의 지원 및 공조적 관계에 대해 수업한다.

(Based on understanding the historical development and trends of civil society, the role of civil society organizations in providing services, domestic and international society, and the characteristics and roles of social economy such as rapidly growing social enterprises and cooperatives are taught.)

지방자치의 기초개념에 대한 확실한 인식하에 주민의 참여와 지지와 호응받는 행정수단을 개괄하고 지방의회와 단체장 등 행정집행수단을 이해시키고자 한다.

(Under the clear recognition of the basic concept of local autonomy, it aims to outline administrative means that are responsive to the participation and support of residents and to understand administrative means such as local councils and heads of organizations.)
