본 교과목은 기업사회공헌에 대한 기본틀을 형성하여, 연구와 현장에서의 실제적인 응용을 용이하게 하며, 비영리조직과 기업의 파트너십 필요성과 전략에 대해 인식하도록 하는 것이 목적이다. 기업 사회공헌의 의미와 개념, 다양한 유형, 효과성에 대해 이해하고, 기업 사회공헌의 효과적인 전략과 네트워킹 및 실천적 쟁점을 논의하고자 한다.

(The purpose of this course is to form a basic framework for corporate social contribution, facilitate practical application in research and field, and to recognize the necessity and strategy of partnership between non-profit organizations and companies. It aims to understand the meaning and concept of corporate social contribution, various types, and effectiveness, and to discuss effective strategies of corporate social contribution, networking, and practical issues.)

이 과목은 국내 및 국제사회에서 시민사회의 구성 및 발전에 대한 참여와 관련된 주제들을 검토한다. 주요내용으로는 국내 및 국제적 차원에서 시민권의 형성과 시민참여의 발전과정의 여러 측면들이며 특히 세계화 시대를 맞아 인권, 여성, 평화, 환경, 보건, 복지, 노동 등의 영역에서 국제기구나 국제사회운동을 통해 이루어지는 국제 연대와 협력을 분석한다.

(This course examines various forms of civic participation in construction and development of civil society. Topics include creation and development of citizenship and civic participation in domestic and international settings. The course emphasizes the emerging trend of international solidarity and cooperation through international organizations or transnational social movement in the areas of human right, women, peace, environments, health, welfare, and labor in the age of globalization.)

This course examines seminal theories on social change and explores how these theories can explain various social phenomena and political systems. This course also aims at developing analytical perspectives on important contemporary topics such as inequality, civil society and globalization.

국제기구(International organizations)

국제기구가 발전해 온 과정을 역사적으로 검토한 후, 현존 국제사회에서 활동하고 있는 국제기구에 대한 연구를 진행한다. 국제연합을 비롯하여 각종 국제기구의 기능과 역할을 분석하여, 장차 국제기구들이 세계평화 유지 및 국제사회의 발전에 줄 수 있는 영향력을 고찰한다.

본 강의는 기업의 사회공헌과 사회적기업에 대한 기본틀을 형성하여, 비영리조직과 기업의 파트너십 필요성과 전략에 대해 인식하도록 하는 것이 목적이다. 본 교과목에서는 기업 사회공헌의 중요성, 개념, 유형 및 효과성과 사회적기업의 개념 및 등장배경, 사회적기업의 정책 및 제도에 대하여 이해한다. 또한 기업 사회공헌과 사회적 기업의 효과적인 전략과 네트워킹 및 실천적 쟁점을 논의하고자 한다.

(This course aims to build foundations of corporate social responsibility and social enterprise to effectively apply partnership and networking. This course focuses on both basic contents of CSR and social enterprise and practice. Through this class, students will acquire theoretical background of CSR and social enterprise, and have an opportunity to acquire innovative approaches for effective networking strategy.)

시민사회와지역개발 Civil Society and Community Development

본 교과목은 지역사회의 제반 과제 해결능력을 배양하고자, 지역복지전문가로서의 역량을 증진하는 것을 기본 목적으로 한다. 시민사회에서 지역개발의 의미와 연관성, 다양한 국제기구 및 NGO 단체들의 활동에 관한 이해를 넓힌다. 지역개발을 위한 기초적인 이론, 다양한 전략 및 전술 등을 살펴볼 것이다. 또한 지역사회의 자원을 동원하고 활용하여 지역사회조직들이 발전하고 지역주민들의 참여와 지지를 획득하기 위한 다양한 방안들을 살펴볼 것이다.

(The main purpose of this course is to enhance the capacity of community welfare professionals to solve problems in the local community. Students will understand the relationship between civil society and community development and the roles of NGOs in community development. This course focuses on theories and strategies for community development and will explore various ways to mobilize and utilize community resources and to gain the participation of local residents.)

NGO와시민참여 (NGO and Citizens' Participation)

국가의 위상과 역할이 변화하고 있는 현대사회에서 개인과 정치사회를 이어주는 중간집단, 특히 NGO의 역할과 비중은 나날이 증대되고 있다. 이 세미나에서는 NGO의 조직과 역할, 활동양상에 대하여 사례를 통한 구체적이고 경험적 연구를 도모할 것이다. 나아가 한국사회에서 NGO가 담당해야 할 문제들을 검토하고 NGO의 발전방향을 모색해 보려 한다.

(In a modern society where the status and role of the country are changing, the role and proportion of intermediate groups that connect individuals and political societies, especially NGOs, is increasing day by day. In this seminar, specific and empirical studies will be promoted through examples on the organization, role, and activity patterns of NGOs. Furthermore, we will review the problems that NGOs should take charge of in Korean society and seek the direction of NGO development.)

주민운동및참여 (Citizen Movement and Participation

주민운동과 참여에 관한 이론과 선진 각 국의 사례를 비교 분석한다. 이를 바탕으로 우리나라의 실태를 분석한 후 주민운동과 주민의 자치행정에 참여를 바람직한 방향으로 활성화 할 수 있는 방안을 모색한다.

(It compares and analyzes the theory of resident movement and participation with the cases of developed countries. Based on this, after analyzing the current situation of Korea, we seek ways to revitalize participation in the residents' movement and residents' self-government administration in a desirable direction.)
