Level: 석사(Master)본 강좌는 사회과학연구 결과물을 읽고 해석할 때, 그리고 사회조사 보고서를 작성할 때 필요한 기본적인 지식을 배울 수 있는 기회를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 아울러 학위 논문의 작성에 뜻이 있는 수강생들은 논문 작성 시에 유의해야 할 여러 가지 사항들을 살펴봄으로써 기초적인 연구계획을 설계할 수 있는 기회를 마련할 수 있다. 강의를 통해 다루어질 내용은: 사회이론과 사회조사의 관계; 사회조사의 정치와 윤리; 개념화와 조작화; 자료의 수집과 분석; 그리고 사회조사 보고서의 읽기와 쓰기 등이다.
이 강의를 통해 수강생들은 사회과학에서 사용되는 계량적인 조사방법에 대한 종합적이면서 체계적인 이해를 고양함과 더불어 기초 연구 계획서를 준비하고 발표함으로써 학위 논문을 작성할 수 있는 토대를 쌓을 수 있을 것이다.
(The purpose of this course is to provide an opportunity to learn the basic knowledge necessary when reading and interpreting social science research results and when writing social research reports. In addition, students who are willing to write a thesis for a degree can provide an opportunity to design a basic research plan by looking at various matters to be aware of when writing the thesis. The lecture will cover: the relationship between social theory and social investigation; the politics and ethics of social investigation; conceptualization and manipulation; data collection and analysis; and the reading and writing of social investigation reports.)

정책정보대학원은 정치리더십전공, 사회정책 및 NGO전공, 도시 및 지역개발전공, 사회복지실천전공, 사회복지정책 및 행정전공, 언론홍보전공, 커뮤니티 및 사이버심리전공, 디지털정보관리전공으로 구성되어 있으며, 인문사회 분야의 산·학 협동체제 구축을 통한 지역사회 및 국가사회의 발전에 기여할 목적으로 설립되었다.
이 분야의 전문 인력에 대한 지역사회의 수요는 급증하고 있는데 비해 이를 체계적으로 공급할 수 있는 교육프로그램이 없으므로, 향후 지역사회가 필요로 하는 전문인 양성에 크게 이바지할 것을 교육의 목적으로 한다.
It aims to contribute to the development of local and national societies through the establishment of an industry-university cooperative system in the humanities and social fields.
The Graduate School of Policy and Information is composed of Political Leadership Major, Social Policy and NGO Major, Urban and Regional Development Major, Social Welfare Practice Major, Social Welfare Policy and Public Administration Major, Media Public Relations Major, Community and Cyber Psychology Major, and Digital Information Management Major. It was established with the purpose of contributing to the development of local and national societies through the establishment of an industry-academic cooperative system in the fields of humanities and social sciences.
The local community's demand for professional manpower in this field is rapidly increasing, but there is no educational program that can systematically supply it.
