The objective of this course is to understand what management accounting information is useful for business management of non-profit organizations, and to understand the theories and techniques of management accounting that provide information necessary for business managers to make decisions and conduct business management. In order to understand and master these theories and techniques, examples and cases will be considered and discussed by all students. Through them, students will be able to understand and explain business management accounting of non-profit organizations.

非営利組織の経営管理者の経営管理に有用な経営会計情報とは何かを理解し，経営管理者が意思決定し経営管理を行う上で必要な情報を提供する経営管理会計の理論と技法について理解することを目的とする。こうした理論と技法を理解し習得するためには，例題やケースを全員で考え討論する。それらを通して、学生は非営利組織の経営管理会計について理解し、説明できるようになる。

非営利組織の経営管理者の経営管理に有用な経営会計情報とは何かを理解し，経営管理者が意思決定し経営管理を行う上で必要な情報を提供する経営管理会計の理論と技法について理解することを目的とする。こうした理論と技法を理解し習得するためには，例題やケースを全員で考え討論する。それらを通して、学生は非営利組織のの経営管理会計の知識を身に付け、説明できるようになる。

Business management is important for both for-profit and non-profit companies. The purpose of this course is for students who determine a research theme from the perspective of business management accounting to conduct research on an issue and summarize it in a research paper while using English literature. Therefore, students should acquire knowledge of English and accounting. Students are required to have an interview with the instructor before enrolling in the course.

経営管理は営利・非営利を問わず重要である。本科目は経営管理会計の視点から研究テーマを決定する受講生が、英語文献を使用しながら、課題研究を進め、研究論文としてまとめることを目的とする。そのため、英語及び会計の知識を身につけておくこと。なお、受講に際しては必ず担当教員の面接を受けること。

In today's society, where global issues such as poverty, violence against women and children, human rights abuses, and environmental destruction are becoming increasingly serious, the role of NGOs is becoming increasingly important, as they work to solve these issues from the standpoint of citizens, different from nations, and beyond national borders. In Japan, NPOs, which are creating a flow of social change alongside governments and corporations, are attracting attention as a place where young people can participate in society and realize new ways of working. The goal of this course is to help participants think about their own social participation and ways of working.

貧困、女性や子どもへの暴力、人権侵害、環境破壊など、地球規模の課題が深刻化する現代社会において、国家とは異なる市民の立場から、国境を越えてこれらの課題解決に取り組むNGOの役割が重要になっている。国内においても、行政や企業とならんで社会を変える流れをつくるNPOは、若者の社会参加や新たな働き方を実現する場として注目されている。NGOやNPO、またその根底にある社会運動・市民運動、それらを支える人とお金の流れについて理解し、自分の社会参加や働き方についても考えることを目指す。

As the economy has entered a period of stagnation, the needs of citizens have exploded due to numerous disasters, aging populations, and other social problems, P. Drucker emphasizes the role of NPOs in the "Next Society" as "governments and corporations cannot create communities [for citizens]. Drucker emphasizes the role of NPOs as "governments and corporations cannot create communities (for citizens). Kaneko, Matsuda, and Shimokawabe also point to the potential of NPOs to solve the failures of governments and markets in the "Voluntary Economy. In today's complex and rapidly changing environment of civic life, there is certainly a limit to placing excessive expectations on corporations and governments. Community revitalization and revitalization is an issue that must be addressed not only by the voluntary sector (hereafter referred to as "VS"), such as NPOs, but also by socially oriented corporations. SEs exist in NPOs, companies, and governments. SEs exist in NPOs, businesses, and government, with a few exceptions. Let us also focus on social capital (SC) as an invisible social relationship that links the organizations and networks in which SEs are thought to exist. I would like to discuss the concept of competition in the communities where SEs are active, and consider the direction of community revitalization.

経済成長から停滞期に入り、数多くの災害や高齢化といった社会問題の増大から市民の生活ニーズは爆発的に拡大している。Ｐ．ドラッカーは、「ネクスト・ソサエティ」において政府や企業では（市民のための）コミュニティを生み出すことはできない」としてNPOの役割を重視している。金子、松田、下川辺も「ボランタリー・エコノミー」において政府や市場の失敗を解決するNPOの可能性を指摘する。複雑かつ変化の激しい今日の市民生活の環境において、確かに過度な期待を企業や行政に寄せるこことには限界がある。コミュニティの活性化や再生は、NPOなどのボランタリー・セクター(Voluntary Sector;以下、VS)に加え、社会志向性を備えた企業によっても取り組まれるべき課題である。このVSで、NPOの設立の中心となって活躍する人々を、ベンチャー・ビジネスを立ち上げる起業家(Entrepreneur)になぞらえて、社会起業家(Social Entrepreneur;以下SE)と呼ぶ。SEはNPOや企業、行政にも存在する。ただし行政は、一部の例外を除いて、主体の視座が市民ではなく自己組織に置かれてきた時間が長く、ドラッカーの指摘するように、NPOなどの媒介なくしては視座を転換できない。SEが存在すると考えられる組織やネットワークを結びつけている目に見えない社会的な関係性としてのソーシャル・キャピタル（Social Capital;以下、SC）にも着目しよう。こうしたSEの活動するコミュニティにおける競争の概念に触れ、コミュニティ活性化の方向性を考えたい。SEが我が国のコミュニティ再生で活躍する事例を取り上げる。

In the trend toward restructuring the so-called welfare state, citizens' voluntary activities and private non-profit organizations are becoming increasingly important in dealing with social problems. This lecture aims to provide students with a basic understanding of these trends. The lecture will be given in English, but there is no need to worry about your English ability as long as you are willing to participate actively in the class.

いわゆる福祉国家の再編の流れの中で、社会問題に対応するうえでの市民のボランタリーな活動や民間非営利組織の重要性が増しています。この講義では、このような動向について基礎的な理解を得ることを目的としています。英語で実施する講義ですが、授業に主体的に参加する意欲があれば、英語力についての心配は無用です。
