In "Management of Nonprofit Organizations," Drucker focused on NPOs as a sector that constitutes civil society, pointing out the importance of mission in their operations and insisting on the need for management, including marketing strategies, human resource development, and performance measurement. Behind this was the crisis facing NPOs in developed countries, which can no longer operate solely on donations; in order to survive, NPOs must reach out to businesses and communities and become more passionate about solving problems than ever before. By looking at these issues as points of contact through various activities, this lecture will address and develop these various issues head-on.

ドラッカーは『非営利組織の経営』の中で、市民社会を構成するセクターとしてNPOに注目して、その運営におけるミッションの重要性を指摘すると共に、マーケティング戦略、人材育成、成果測定といったマネジメントの必要性を主張した。 その背景には、もはや寄付に頼るだけでは活動できない先進国のNPOが直面する危機があった。NPOが生き残るためには、企業や地域に働きかけ、これまで以上に課題解決に情熱を傾ける必要がある。 こうした課題を、様々な活動を通しての接点としてみることで、これら諸問題に関して、本講義では正面から取り上げて展開する。

NPO Management Theory lectures on the diversity of NPO operations and activities. In the spring semester, we will strive to acquire basic knowledge. The aim of this class is to understand the basics of the human resources and organizational management expected of NPOs, etc. At the same time, the Great East Japan Earthquake and other examples of NPOs active in various regions will be discussed. Therefore, it is recommended that students take classes throughout the year.

NPO マネジメント論は、NPO の事業や活動に関して、その運営の多様性について講義する。春学期では、基礎的な知識習得に努める。この授業のねらいは、NPO などで期待される人材や組織運営に関する基礎を理解すると同時に、東日本大震災や各地で活躍する NPO 事例を取り上げる。NPO は地域・企業・行政によって支えられているが、その活動も多岐にわたるため、本講義でも多様な内容となる。そのため年間を通じて授業を受けることが望ましい。

Nonprofit Organization (NPO) Management Theory will address the projects, activities, evaluation, and resilience of nonprofit organizations. In the fall semester, along with case study based on NPO activities, the relationship and collaboration between NPOs and local communities, businesses, and government will be addressed. Their activities also attracted attention for disaster prevention activities, etc. along with philanthropy and volunteer activities. understanding the resilience of current regions is essential to understand how NPO activities provide the basis for volunteer activities to change regions and society with themes, and the future environment surrounding the region. .

非営利組織（NPO）マネジメント論は、非営利組織の事業や活動、評価、レジリエンスについて取り上げる。秋学期では、NPO 活動の事例に基づく学習と共に、NPOと地域・企業・行政との関係や協働について取り上げる。その活動もフィランソロピーやボランティア活動と共に防災活動などで注目された。NPO 活動がテーマを持って地域や社会を変えるためにボランティア活動の基礎を提供していることや、今後の地域を取り巻く環境を理解するためにも、現在の地域が抱えるレジリエンス理解が欠かせない。
