NGO/NPO may be a word we hear often, but the definition of what it actually means is not clear anymore. In this class, we will clarify the basic propositions of what kind of organization is called an NGO/NPO and what is the difference between an NGO and an NPO, and then look at actual examples of each organization, as well as visit and observe them in off-campus classes. In the latter half of the class, each student will propose an NGO/NPO that he/she would like to create, and the entire class will select one organization to prepare an application for the establishment of the organization. NGO/NPOはよく聞くことばかもしれないが、実際にどういうものを指すのか、もうひとつその定義は明らかではない。本授業では、どういう団体がNGO/NPOと呼ばれるのか、NGOとNPOの違いは何かという基本命題を明確にした上で、それぞれの団体の実際の事例を見ていくとともに、学外授業で訪問、見学を行う。後半の授業では、各受講生が自分の作りたいNGO/NPOを提案し、１団体を選んでクラス全員で団体設立申請書類の作成を行う。
