NPOマネジメント

In recent years, nonprofit organizations (NPOs) have come to play an important role in solving various social issues in Japan. This course aims to provide students with an understanding of the concept of NPOs, the reality and significance of each field, and the basics of management, as well as the ability to envision their own involvement in NPOs and how NPOs should be organized. The first half of the class will introduce the concept of NPOs and then look at the reality of NPOs through case studies in each field. In the second half, students will learn the fundamentals of NPO management, and will try to create an NPO plan in groups. Video clips will be used as necessary to facilitate understanding of the course content. This course aims to provide students with the "broad knowledge and education" that is "necessary to be active in various fields as a member of society," as stated in the curriculum policy. It also corresponds to the Diplomacy Policy, which aims to nurture "human resources who can respond to the challenges of modern society.

近年、わが国では様々な社会的課題を解決していくために、NPO（Nonprofit Organization; 民間非営利団体・組織）が重要な役割を担うようになっている。本科目では、NPOの概念、各分野の実情と意義、そしてマネジメントの基礎について理解し、自身のNPOに対する関わり方やNPOのあり方について構想する能力を身につけることをねらいとする。授業の前半はNPOの概念を把握したのち、各分野の事例を通じてNPOの実際についてみていく。後半はNPOマネジメントの基礎を学びつつ、グループでNPOプランを作成することを試みる。なお、授業内容の理解を促進するべく適宜映像を活用する。本科目は、カリキュラムポリシーにおける「社会人として各界で活躍する際に必要」な、「幅広い知識と教養」を獲得することを目指すものである。また、「現代社会が抱える課題に対応できる人材」を育成するとするディプロマシーポリシーに対応しているものである。
