The non-profit organizations (NPOs) in Japan are expanding their activities in various fields such as welfare and medical care, children's education, environmental issues, community development, and international exchange and cooperation, and their importance is increasing in each region. In this course, we will examine the positioning and roles of NPOs in Japan, the actual status of the systems that support their activities, and the actual content and status of their activities in various fields.

我が国の民間非営利組織（NPO）は，福祉・医療分野，子ども教育，環境問題，地域づくり，国際交流・協力など様々な分野で活動の枠を広げ，各地域での重要性が高まってきています。NPOの活動が活発な分野や地域は光り輝いていると言ってもよいでしょう。そこで本講座では，我が国におけるNPOの位置づけや役割，活動を支える制度の実態や，様々な分野での活動内容の実像や実態を把握，検討します
