More than 20 years have passed since the Law for the Promotion of Specified Nonprofit Activities (NPO Law) came into effect. Amidst rapidly changing social conditions, NPOs are playing an important role in various fields such as welfare, environment, education, gender, international cooperation, disaster, community development, and culture and art. In this lecture, we will focus on NPO activities aimed at solving social and regional issues, and learn about the organization's structure, characteristics, and social significance from the latest trends and past cases. The class will consist mainly of lectures and will be interspersed with work.

特定非営利活動促進法（NPO法）が施行されて20年以上が経過した。社会情勢が激しく変化する中、福祉、環境、教育、ジェンダー、国際協力、災害、まちづくり、文化・芸術といった様々な分野においてNPOが重要な役割を果たしている。本講義では、社会や地域の課題解決を目的としたNPOの活動に着目し、組織の仕組みや特徴、社会的な意義について最新の動向や過去の事例から学ぶ。授業は講義を中心に、ワークを交えながら進める。
