NPO／NGO論

Citizens have begun to take action on their own in areas such as welfare, the environment, human rights, and community development, and have begun to play an important role in society. This course will study the history, roles, and positioning of NPOs and NGOs, as well as their specific fields of activity and organizational content, through case studies of actual NPOs and NGOs, and examine desirable ways to contribute to society. The course will also cover new trends such as crowdfunding, social entrepreneurship, and regional companies, and will reconsider the public sphere from a diverse and macro viewpoint.

福祉、環境、人権、まちづくりなどの分野で、市民が自ら活動し始めて、社会的に重要な役割を持ち始めた。その具体的な手段であるNPO/NGOに関する歴史・役割・位置づけ、および具体的な活動分野・組織内容について、実際のNPO/NGOの事例を通して学び、そして望ましい社会貢献のあり方を考察する。併せて新しい動向であるクラウドファンディング・社会的起業・地域的企業などについても学び、公共圏のあり方を多様かつマクロに捉え直す。
