NPO論

Through comparisons with for-profit organizations (corporations) and government organizations, students will learn about the historical development and characteristics of activities of NPOs, which conduct highly public activities from a non-profit and non-governmental standpoint, and consider the possibilities and challenges of collaboration among the three parties. The class will use newspapers and video materials as well as literature to understand specific examples of activities. Students will be asked to actively participate in discussions, dialogues, and presentations.

営利組織（企業）、政府組織との比較を通して非営利かつ非政府の立場で公共性の高い活動を行うNPOの歴史的展開や活動の特徴を学び、三者の協働の可能性と課題について考える。授業では、文献の他に、新聞や映像資料を用いて具体的な活動例を把握する。受講生には討論や対話、発表等への積極的な参加を求める。
