NPOs and Social Business

NPOとソーシャルビジネス

In this class, students will deepen their understanding of the activities of NPOs (non-profit organizations) and social enterprises (social businesses) as agents of social change in contemporary society, based on the curriculum policy 2 of the Department of Environment and Creative Studies. First, we will review basic knowledge about NPOs and social enterprises, and then, assuming the case of starting an NPO or social enterprise, we will think practically about (1) recognition of social problems, (2) the target audience of activities, and (3) the social state of problem solving.

この授業では、環境ト創生学科のカリキュラムポリシー２に基づき、現代社会における社会変革のエージェントとしてのNPO（非営利組織）および社会的企業(ソーシャルビジネス）の活動について、理解を深める。はじめに、NPOと社会的企業についての基本知識を確認し、そのうえで、NPOや社会的企業を起業した場合を想定して、①社会問題の認識、②活動の対象者像、③問題解決の社会状態について、実践的に考えていくことにしたい。
