In Japan, the term "non-profit organization" (NPO) has become well known thanks to the activities of volunteers and others in the aftermath of the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake in 1995, and is now expected to play a role in providing services that corporations and governments cannot reach in a wide range of fields, including the environment, welfare, community development, and sports. NPOs are now expected to play a role in providing services in a wide range of fields, such as the environment, welfare, community development, and sports, that are beyond the reach of businesses and governments. Therefore, from a business administration perspective, students will learn about the structure of NPOs and examples of social and community businesses that NPOs engage in through textbooks and handouts. 1. Students will be able to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. to create texts, charts, statistical data, etc.
2. to be able to make presentations and express opinions based on reports and resumes that students themselves have researched and prepared
3. to acquire basic knowledge of business administration (basic concepts and ideas, terminology, theories, etc.)
4. develop further interest, concern, and understanding of business administration through the themes of the Special Seminar I
