NPO・NGO論

The activities of companies doing business across borders have caused various social problems in emerging and developing countries, such as child labor in supply chains, exploitation of resources, environmental pollution, and resource development in conflict zones. In order to promote CSR and solve global social issues, NPOs, NGOs, and companies are required to cooperate with each other. This lecture aims to provide an understanding of the basic structure of NPOs and NGOs, as well as the role they play in promoting corporate social responsibility (CSR) and the significance of their activities through case study analysis.

国境を越えてビジネスを展開する企業の活動によって、新興国や 途上国において、サプライチェーンにおける児童労働や資源の搾 取、環境汚染、紛争地域における資源開発等、様々な社会問題が生 じたことをきっかけに企業の社会的責任（Corporate Social Responsibility：CSR）の推進が強く求められています。CSRを推進 し、地球規模の社会的課題を解決するためにNPO・NGOと企業の連携 が求められています。 本講義は、NPO・NGOの基本的な仕組みを理解しながら、事例分析 を通じて、企業の社会的責任（CSR）の推進においてNPO・NGOが果 たす役割や活動の意義を理解することを目的とします。
