NPO論

Credit Bearing: 2
Level: Undergraduate(学部)

Why are NPOs needed? How do they operate? In the NPO theory, we will first understand the areas of service, taking into account the social and historical background in which NPOs emerge. Next, we will identify organizational characteristics and issues through case studies of NPOs, both domestic and international, that address familiar life issues in local communities. Particular attention will be paid to the leadership of NPOs to deepen understanding, focusing on the reasons why they started their activities and the operational management of their organizations. The course will then organize the "intermediaries" that support these activities and organizations, as well as domestic and international policy trends, and discuss the future direction of NPO development. The goal of this class is for students to discover what options and directions are available to them in terms of their own involvement in NPO activities from the perspective of working on their own social projects.(Translated by DeepL)
