NPO論

As national and local governments face a variety of challenges, such as financial difficulties and declining populations, and find it difficult to provide public services that meet the increasingly complex and diverse needs and demands of people, NPOs and other organizations have come into the spotlight, and volunteer and NPO activities are attracting attention. The role of NPOs is becoming increasingly important in a rapidly changing society, and students will learn theories on the characteristics and challenges of NPOs, collaboration with other sectors, and the division of roles, and will examine ways to solve real problems in society through field research and interviews. Students will also learn the theory of how to solve real problems in society through field research and interviews. The results of the research and analysis will be reported and presented at the end of the course. We would like you to think, analyze, and consider as a beginning researcher university students who will experience for themselves and state in their own way what the role of NPOs is.

財政難や人口減少などさまざまな課題を抱える国や自治体は複雑で多様化する人々の要望やニーズに応える公共サービスをこれまでのように提供することが困難となり、NPOなどの存在がクローズアップされ、ボランティア活動やNPOの活動が注目されている。めまぐるしく変化する社会の流れにNPOの役割は重要になってきているが、NPOが持つ特性や課題は何か、他のセクターとの協働や役割分担とはなどについて理論を学ぶとともに、社会にある現実の問題を解決していくための方法を学生自身が、フィールドリサーチやヒアリングを通じて検証していく。調査や分析の結果を最後に報告・発表する。自ら体験し、NPOの役割は何なのかを自分の考えで述べていただく、初級研究者の大学生として考え、分析し、考察することを心掛けてほしい。
