Citizens' activities are important in today's politics and economy, and NPOs and NGOs play a major role in this regard. However, while there are probably not many people who have heard of NPOs and NGOs, there seems to be little understanding of why they are so important. The goal of this class is to understand why NPOs and NGOs are important in today's politics and economy, and what their problems are.

現代の政治・経済において、市民の活動は重要であるが、NPOやNGOはその面で大きな役割を果たしている。しかしNPOやNGOという言葉を知らない人はあまりいなと思われるが、なぜNPOやNGOが重要なのか、この点はあまり理解されていないようにも思われる。現代の政治・経済においてNPOやNGOがなぜ重要なのか、その問題点は何かを理解することが、この授業の到達目標である。
