The lecture will provide information on changes in society and future directions, as well as information on the operations of related organizations. The class will be facilitated with the use of visual aids and data as necessary.
The lecture will not be a one-way lecture, but an interactive class.

・社会の変化や今後の方向性に関する情報や関連組織の運営に関する情報を提供する講義を行う。必要に応じて、視覚提供やデータ等も活用して、授業を進行する。
・提供された情報や院生が収集した情報などを基に議論などを行い、本科目のテーマに関する理解を深める。
・一方的な講義ではなく、双方向的な授業を行う。
・参加院生も積極的に調査研究を行い、発表する機会をもてるようにする。

International NPO Management

国際NPOマネジメント論

The lecture will explain the various characteristics and activities of NPOs, mainly through lectures and DVDs of actual cases.
The lecture will also explain the systems and institutions related to international exchange and cooperation, and their activities, especially international NPOs, with specific examples of their activities, achievements, success factors, and challenges.
In addition, the lecture will introduce and explain successful examples of social business around the world.

NPOについて、講義を中心としてＤＶＤによる実例紹介も行いながら、いろいろな特徴や活動状況を解説する。
また、国際交流・協力に関する制度や実施機関とその活動状況、特に、国際NPOについて、具体的事例を挙げて、活動状況、成果その成功要因、、課題等を解説する。
併せて、ソーシャルビジネスについて、世界的な成功事例の紹介と解説を行う。

NPOマネジメント論

To understand the social background of the growing role of NPOs as new players in society and as providers of public services, and to develop the ability to consider the specific functions expected of NPOs and their significance. The goal is to develop the ability to think about the specific functions expected of NPOs and their significance, and to understand the important points to keep in mind when setting up an NPO and the key management issues (human resources, organization, financial resources, and business development) that are important for NPOs to develop in cooperation with the government and businesses so that they can play a role in the development of society.

社会の新しい担い手として、また、公共サービスの提供者としてNPOの役割が高まっている社会的背景を理解し、NPOに期待される具体的機能とその意義を考える力を養う。そして、NPOが行政や企業等と協働して社会の発展を担えるよう発展させていく上で重要な、NPO立ち上げの留意点を初め、充実した運営を行っていくうえでのマネージメント上のポイント（人材・組織、財源、事業展開）を理解出来るようになることを目指す。
