Non-profit organizations (NPOs) are playing an increasingly important role in urban and regional development, and it is not easy to understand the reality of NPOs because their activities are diverse and constantly being updated. In this class, we will focus on NPOs that aim to revitalize, redevelop, and revitalize cities and regions, and learn about their characteristics and challenges from both theoretical and practical perspectives. In addition, in order to learn about the reality of NPOs with reality, the class will focus on case studies and emphasize listening to and discussing voices from the field.

非営利組織（NPO)は都市・地域づくりにおいてより重要な役割を果たすようになっている。NPOの活動は多岐にわたり、また絶えず更新されるため、その実態について理解することは容易ではない。この授業では、都市・地域の再生や再開発、再活性化を目的とするNPOに焦点をあて、その特性と課題について理論と実践の両面から学ぶ。また、NPOの実態についてリアリティをもって学ぶために、事例学習を中心に、現場の声を聴くこととディスカッションを重視する。
