Management of NGOs/NPOs

NGO/NPO経営論

Credit Bearing: 2
Level: Graduate(大学院)

This class aims to identify the role of NGOs/NPOs in the public sphere and how to acquire their management resources (people, goods, money, information...) through specific case studies. The goal of this class is to identify the role of NGOs/NPOs in the public sphere, and at the same time, to clarify how they acquire their management resources (people, goods, money, information...) through specific case studies. First of all, please note that "NPO" in this class is not limited to "NPO corporation" (= NPO in the narrow sense). The class will examine private organizations that are under the non-profit principle (i.e., non-distribution restrictions) (i.e., "NPOs" or "NGOs" in the broad sense), and as a result, it will include not only NPOs and public interest corporations but also universities, hospitals, museums, social welfare organizations, and many other organizations, which can be called the "non-profit sector," so to speak. We hope that you will have the courage to sail out into the vast ocean of research that we call the "nonprofit sector. In addition, if you have the time and inclination, we would like to place you in the "field of NGO/NPO" and experience its management together with you. (Translated with DeepL)
