NGO実践論

Various forms of campaigns are being conducted by companies, government agencies, and civic organizations. In this course, students will learn practical methodologies that can be used in society, such as how to organize a campaign project, form an organization, conduct public relations and advertising activities, and approach the government, etc., using campaign activities related to international cooperation conducted by NGO Studies as the subject matter.

企業や官公庁、市民組織などで様々な形でのキャンペーンが行われている。本講義は、NGOが行う国際協力に関するキャンペーン活動を題材として、キャンペーン型プロジェクトを実施するための組み立て方や組織形成、広報・宣伝活動、また政府などへの働きかけの方法等について、社会に出て使える方法論を実践的に学ぶ。

NGO論

In recent years, we have seen and heard more and more about NGOs through news reports and mass media, where people have proactively voiced their opinions and activities in response to various problems that have arisen in the shadow of social development in various ways, as groups and sometimes as individuals. This course will focus on "volunteerism" as a key word to support such efforts, and learn how and in what forms they are working to address various problems in our society. In this course, we will first focus on the problem areas in which NGOs operate and explore them through specific examples. The course will then consider the current environment surrounding NGOs, with "globalization" and "civil society" as keywords. This course is not only for those who want to work in international cooperation, especially in NGOs, but also for those who want to live with the global-scale problems that each and every one of us living on the same planet faces. The course is designed to help those who wish to work in international cooperation, especially in NGOs, in the future.

近年、報道やマスコミを通して目や耳にする頻度が高くなってきたNGO。人々が主体的に、自ら集団や時として個人として、さまざまな形で社会の発展の陰に発生したさまざまな問題に対して声をあげ、また活動を行ってきた。その取り組みを支える「ボランティア」をキーワードとし、私達の社会における様々な問題に、どのような形でどのような活動をしているのかについて学ぶ。本講座では、まずNGOの活動する問題領域に焦点をあて具体的な事例から探る。そして、現在のNGOを取り巻く環境について「グローバリゼーション」「市民社会｣をキーワードに考える。将来、国際協力、とりわけNGOを舞台として働きたい人はもちろん、同じ地球に住むひとりひとりが直面する地球規模問題群にどのように向かい合い、生きていくか？について学ぶ。
