In today's society, non-profit organizations are of growing interest as a new entity that responds to the needs of society. They are also expected to play an important role as a third entity that is neither the government nor a for-profit corporation. Therefore, we will study an overview of non-profit organizations with reference to familiar cases, and clarify their social significance. In addition, we will deepen our understanding of non-profit organizations by organizing the characteristics, issues, and possibilities that emerge from their actual status.

今日の社会において、非営利組織は社会のニーズに応える新たな存在として関心が高まっています。また、行政や営利企業でもない第３の主体として重要な役割を果たすことが期待されています。そこで、非営利組織の概要を身近な事例を参考にしながら学び、その社会的な意義を明らかにしていきます。さらに、その実態から見えてくる特徴や課題、可能性等を整理しながら非営利組織に対する理解を深めます。
