In order to understand various regional issues and broaden knowledge on how to solve them, this lecture aims to acquire knowledge on the basic concept, history, specific methods, and issues of citizen participation, which has been the focus of attention in recent years, and to acquire a basic understanding of civic activities including NPO/NGO activities. In addition, guest speakers such as government officials and NPO/NGO officials engaged in community development, international cooperation, etc. are scheduled to give lectures, with the aim of deepening understanding of the actual situation of citizen participation and practical issues.

本講義は、地域の諸課題を理解し、課題解決に向けた知見を広めるために、近年、注目される市民参加の基本的な考え方・歴史・具体的手法・課題についての知識を習得し、NPO/NGO活動を含む市民活動についての基本的な理解の獲得を目指します。また、まちづくり、国際協力等に従事する行政職員やNPO／NGO職員などのゲストスピーカーによる講義を予定し、市民参加の実態や実践上の課題について理解を深めることを目的としています。
