NPO論

Nonprofit organizations (NPOs) have come to be expected by society to play an important role alongside for-profit corporations and government organizations as an entity that plays a role in free social contribution activities by citizens. In this lecture, we will first learn the basics of NPOs, answering questions such as what NPOs are, how and by whom they are managed, what are the laws and regulations concerning NPOs, how money flows through NPOs, what is a volunteer, and what is a donation. What is a volunteer, what is a donation, and so on. Next, we will clarify the current issues and future prospects of NPOs by referring to examples of various NPOs operating in Kochi Prefecture, other regions, and non-profit organizations in other countries.

非営利組織（Not-for-Profit Organization、NPO）は、営利企業や政府組織と並んで、市民による自由な社会貢献活動を担う存在として、社会から重要な役割を期待されるようになっています。この講義ではまず、NPOとは何か、NPOの運営はどのような人によってどのように行われているのか、NPOに関する法律や規制はどうなっているのか、NPOのお金の流れはどうなっているのか、ボランティアとは何か、寄附とは何か、といった疑問に応えながら、NPOの基礎を学んでいきます。次いで、高知県内で様々な活動を行うNPOや、その他の地域ならびに諸外国の非営利組織の事例を参考にしながら、現在の課題と将来の展望を明らかにしていきます。

Learn about the nature and roles of welfare NPOs, their relationships with government and specialized agencies and organizations, and the actual situation of welfare NPOs in Kochi Prefecture, and understand the significance and challenges of NPO activities in community welfare.

福祉NPOの本質・役割、行政や専門機関・団体との関係、高知県内における福祉NPOの実際について学び、地域福祉におけるNPO活動の意義や課題を理解する。
