We often hear news about "volunteers," "nonprofit organizations (NPOs)," and "non-governmental organizations (NGOs)." What are the significance of these voluntary actions in our society? This course will take a sociological perspective to analyze these actions from our own experience, examples around us, as well as relevant theories.

ニュースでも耳にすることのある「ボランティア」や「非営利組織（NPO）」「非政府組織（NGO）」は、私たちが暮らす社会や日々の生活において、どのような意義を持っているのでしょうか。ご自身の経験や身近な活動の例、そして理論の知見を手掛かりに、他者や社会に貢献する様々な行動を、社会学の観点から考察します。

Non-profit Organization (Seminar I)

非営利組織論演習（Ｉ）

In this seminar, students will gain an understanding of basic concepts, theories, and research trends related to nonprofit organizations through reports and discussions of research on nonprofit organizations. In each class, students will report on related previous research and research plans and progress based on their own research themes related to nonprofit organizations in a broad sense, and all participants will discuss them together. 本演習では、非営利組織に関する研究の報告や議論を通して、非営利組織に関する基礎概念・理論および研究動向を理解する。毎回、受講者が、広義の非営利組織に関する各自の研究テーマをふまえて、関連の先行研究や研究計画・進捗について報告し、全員で議論する。修士論文執筆に必要な基礎知識を実践的に習得する。

非営利組織に関する修士論文の作成に向けて、各自の調査研究および関連文献に関する報告と議論を行う。また、論文作成に関する指導・助言を行う。
