This course covers the historical development of governmental institutions in Eritrea.

Civil Society and Development

This course seeks to enable students to play a facilitating role in civil society organizations and to mobilize civil society organizations in the development process.

Comparative Public Administration

This course is acquaints students with comparative public administration as a field of study. The emphasis is on the comparative survey and analysis of public administration systems in developed and developing countries.

Development Administration

This course defines the concept of development and shows the role of Public Administration in the development process in the developing countries.

Public Policy Analysis

This course examines the basic concepts, models, methodologies and process of Public Policy formulation and administration.

Rural Development Administration

This course introduces students to the concept of rural development and local participation in Development philosophy. The course studies the importance of Rural Local organization in the Third World in general and Eritrea in particular.

Social Welfare Administration

This course is intended to acquaint students with the role of the state in taking care of the poor, the aged, the disabled and other groups in need of help.

Urban Development Administration

This course deals with the important aspects of Urban Administration and Urban problems. A comparative study of selected cities municipal administrations
