Credit Bearing: 3 creditsThis course is designed to introduce students to the non-profit sector and provide them with the foundational knowledge they need to understand the role and purpose of non-profit organizations in contemporary Canadian society. Students will learn what distinguishes the non-profit sector from business and government, with particular attention given to mission, organizational structure, funding, and culture.
