Exploring Indian Business, Culture And Society - *Customization of the Short Term Programs: The programs listed above are broad frameworks of the programmes that are offered on an ongoing basis. Responsible Business Leadership Programme
Credit Bearing: 30 hours

Indian Political, Regulatory and Economic Environment This course attempts to provide a snapshot of the Indian business environment, by focusing on its political and economic landscape. It would also highlight the major features of the regulatory framework as relevant to doing business in India. Responsible Business: The India Way The module will look into the details of the paradigm on which Indian market and society work, the way Indian companies and vendors look at the world market and collaboration with foreign partners. Managing Stakeholder Value Responsibly The course aims to provide students with an understanding of approaches that business follow to improve value for all stakeholders, by reviewing return for investors, empowering employees, giving customers high value, building long-term relationships with suppliers, partners, and others in the value chain, acting in a socially responsible manner for the benefit of all stakeholders.


Social Entrepreneurship and Indian Business
Credit Bearing: 60 hours

The program provides opportunities to foreign students in getting exposure to India and emerging markets. The Programme will include class sessions about Indian economy and culture, visit to industries, dance and cultural programs, panel discussions and visit to historical sites. Modules offered: – Doing Business in India – Social Entrepreneurship – Indian Perspective – Bottom of the Pyramid– Rural Markets
